Visa Information to Australia
  • Most business and tourist visitors to Australia require a valid visitor visa. An Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) is available to passport holders from certain eligible countries and is the easiest way to apply for a visitor visa to Australia.
  • Stay for up to three months on each visit within the validity, an ETA is automatically linked to your passport once approved. There is no need to fill in any paper application forms or visit any Australian embassies.
  • To apply for ETA through the site below, you must hold one of the listed ETA-eligible passports*. If you do not meet these criteria, you may be eligible for an eVisitor or an e676 Tourist visa online. Visit http://www.immi.gov.au/visitors/tourist/976/ to check your eligibility for these services.

  • Please note that you are advised to apply for your ETA at least two weeks before your planed date of travel. There is no visa application fee, but $20 of service charge applies.
